Ink Fingerprinting – FD-258 Cards & More

fingerprint

Alliance 2020 provides convenient ink fingerprinting services at our offices in Renton, Everett, Tacoma and Wenatchee. You do not need to schedule an appointment for ink fingerprinting at any of our locations. Appointments are only required for electronic fingerprinting.

Upon arriving, we’ll provide you with an FD-258 card to fill out. If you have your own card or need fingerprints on another document, we’ll print you on that. After the prints are taken, we’ll hand the card back to you. The process is quick, taking about 15 minutes from start to finish!

Fingerprinting costs $40 for one card and $5 for each additional card. We accept credit/debit at all four locations. Cash is only accepted at our Renton office. Please bring a valid government-issued ID, as it is required for identification purposes.

We guarantee your prints will be accepted or we will reprint you at no charge!

What are fingerprints needed for?

  • Medical/Nursing Licensing
  • Foreign Passport Renewals
  • Concealed Pistol Licensing (CPL)

  • Teaching/Education Requirements (OSPI)
  • Employment Background Checks
  • Firearm Licensing (ATF, NFA)

How do I get an FBI fingerprint background check?

In order to obtain your background check, you must submit fingerprint cards to the FBI. Alliance 2020 works with you to secure the documentation needed to run the background check. The results are mailed directly to you within two to four weeks.

How do I get a WSP fingerprint background check?

In order to obtain a fingerprint-based background check for Washington state, you must submit a fingerprint card to the Washington State Patrol (WSP). Alliance 2020 works with you to facilitate your fingerprint background check. Results are generally available within two to four weeks.

What's an ORI number?

An ORI, or Originating Agency Identifier, identifies the agency that originated the fingerprinting request. For a civil applicant, it’s the agency requiring you to undergo a fingerprint-based background check.

The code is assigned by the FBI or a state’s main law enforcement agency based on state or federal legislation that allows or requires applicants for the agency to undergo the check. Moreover, it tells the law enforcement agency conducting the background check who to send the results to. The authorized agency is not allowed by state and FBI rules to share the results of the background check with any other person or entity.

The ORI is generally a 9-digit alpha-numeric code consisting of 2 digits identifying the state and 6-7 numerals and often ending with a letter. Some states issue agency ID’s which follow a different format but serve the same purpose.

Do you offer mobile fingerprinting services?

If you are located in the Puget Sound region and coming to our office is inconvenient, that’s no problem! We provide onsite fingerprinting services for an additional charge. This is an ideal solution for groups or busy professionals like doctors, lawyers and others. If you are interested, please call or email sales@alliance2020.com.

Do you fingerprint for concealed pistol licensing?

Alliance 2020 is authorized by several police departments throughout the Puget Sound region to fingerprint for concealed pistol licensing. If you are applying for a CPL and need fingerprints, call us to confirm if we can assist.

Are the fingerprinting cards provided?

We provide FD-258 fingerprint cards, if you do not already have them. SF-87 cards are also available at our Renton office. Sometimes applicants need their prints done on a different type of card or document. In almost all cases, we are able to assist.

    Can you fingerprint children?

In most cases, we are able to fingerprint school-age children. A government-issued photo ID that shows the child’s name and DOB is required.

What do I need to bring to my appointment?

We require that you bring a government-issued photo ID that shows your date of birth. While we provide FD-258 cards at no additional cost, you may also bring your own card or document. For the highest quality prints, please be properly hydrated and use hand lotion prior to your appointment.

What happens if my fingerprints are rejected?

Our fingerprint technicians are extremely talented at what they do! However, if your cards do get rejected, we will reprint you at no additional cost.
